Commission narrowly approves exemption from FY2022 audit MDA, 3-2
After debate the Geneva County Commission voted 3-2 to excuse the county administrator from completing the Management Discussion and Analysis (MDA) for the FY2022 audit, with Chairman Seay casting the deciding vote.

At the July 28 meeting Administrator Cindy Williams requested that she not be required to complete the Management Discussion and Analysis (MDA) portion of the FY2022 audit, saying the previous administrator had not completed it and she hoped to cover that material in the FY2023 audit instead.
