Board extends BARIP covenants 10 years, appoints review and risk committees
The Union County Development Authority voted May 11 to extend the Covenants and Restrictions for the Blairsville Airport Regional Industrial Park (BARIP) for ten years and approved a Review Committee and a Risk Assessment Committee to update and assess the covenants and related risks.

The Union County Development Authority voted to extend the Covenants and Restrictions for the Blairsville Airport Regional Industrial Park (BARIP) for ten years during its May 11 meeting. Board members discussed the need to review the covenants to account for new building materials that may be available since the covenants were drafted about 20 years ago.
