Robert Pratt, the county IT director, explained that the NVISAC membership would provide a formal, secure mechanism for local agencies and smaller non‑state entities to share sensitive operational information that currently flows by email and phone. "This will allow us to pull our resources and actually share actual information with each other and collaborate between the different agencies to try to resolve security issues," Pratt said.
