Amanda (speaker 9), county HR staff, told the commission that the county’s current payroll system (Central Square) has produced incorrect payroll tax calculations and has required labor‑intensive manual corrections. "Our current payroll and HR system... has been extremely challenging," she said, and described the administrative burden of manual retro payments and timecard management.
