Commission authorizes county signatory for new DHS transit contractor
The board authorized the chairman or county manager to sign the new DHS transit contract the county is required to accept; staff said the contract took effect Nov. 1 and the board carried the authorizing motion.

County staff advised commissioners that the Department of Human Services had awarded a new transit contract to a vendor the county must use for DHS-funded transit work. Glenn (staff) explained the change and asked commissioners to authorize either the chairman or the county manager to sign the new agreement. The chair asked for a motion; after a motion and second the board voted to authorize the county signatory.
