Fulton County commissioners approve routine business, budgets and procedural changes

At their Feb. 17, 2026 meeting in Wauseon, the Fulton County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously to approve routine business items, including the minutes from the Feb. 12 meeting, the day’s agenda and payment of county bills. Commissioner Jon Rupp moved to approve the minutes and Commissioner Joe Short seconded; the motion passed 3-0."After review, the Fulton County Commissioners hereby approves the minutes of Regular Session held February 12, 2026 as presented," reads the minutes entry recorded in the meeting file.
The board also adopted a procedural change to procurement documentation: Resolution 2026-131 authorizes the auditor-prepared Purchase Order computer edit list to remain on file in the commissioners' office in lieu of journalizing each edit, and approved travel requests as submitted. The resolutions were recorded with standard roll-call language certifying compliance with Section 121.22 of the Ohio Revised Code; votes on these items were unanimous, 3-0.
