Ellis County commissioners paused agenda business to recognize county employees reaching milestone anniversaries of service in 2025. Jennifer Taylor, Ellis County HR, read the names of employees across departments who reached 5-,10-,15-,20-,30- and 40-year milestones and instructed awardees to gather for photos.
Names announced included employees from EMS, fire, public works, register of deeds and treasury among others; Jennifer Taylor framed the recognitions as acknowledgements of steady work, experience and public service. Commissioners thanked the employees and staff for their service.
