The Board of Pottawatomie County Commissioners voted 4-1 on March 30 to adopt the Hazard Mitigation Plan 2025 as Resolution 2026-14, a countywide update to preparations for natural hazards and emergencies. Gary D. Yenzer moved for adoption and Merl Page seconded; Bill Drew voted against the motion and was recorded saying he "hadn't read it all."
