Pawnee County commissioners unanimously adopted proclamations designating April as Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month and heard from Family Crisis Center representatives about upcoming events.

At the March 30 meeting, Pawnee County commissioners read and adopted proclamations recognizing Sexual Assault Awareness Month and Child Abuse Awareness and Prevention Month. Commissioner Rein read the texts of both proclamations; motions by Commissioner Miller, seconded by Commissioner Burdett, passed 3-0 for each proclamation.
