The Board of Supervisors voted to appoint Kenneth Bell as interim supervisor for the Dendron/Linden district following a motion, second and voice vote. County staff summarized that Supervisor Drury resigned on July 4 and the Circuit Court set a special election for Nov. 4; Virginia code allows the board to appoint an interim supervisor until the election and qualification of the newly elected official.
