Commissioners approve routine contracts and intergovernmental agreements

Franklin County commissioners approved a series of routine contracts and agreements during the July 13 meeting. The board accepted the Idaho Department of Juvenile Corrections Community Based Alternative Services and Substance Use Disorder Services Agreement (annual), which funds services for juveniles who cannot pay. The board also approved an IntelliPay agreement—recommended by Gold Cross Billing Services and approved by the Ambulance Board—to allow patient credit‑card payments for ambulance bills.
Clerk Camille Larsen presented an engagement letter for Jones Simkins to perform the county's outside audit; County Attorney Vic Pearson reviewed the document and the board accepted it. Commissioners also approved the annual Samsara contract for fleet telematics and a Four‑County Mutual Agreement to provide disaster mutual aid among Franklin, Bear Lake, Caribou and Oneida counties. All motions were moved by Zan Bowles and seconded by Robert Swainston and were recorded as unanimous votes.
