Commissioners authorize county credit-card use for administrators and facilities manager with limits

The Fayette County Board of Commissioners passed two related resolutions Feb. 2 to permit limited use of county credit cards by specified county officials.
One resolution authorizes the County Administrator of the Board of Commissioners and the Information Systems Manager to proceed with use of county credit cards previously issued for work-related expenses and repairs, limited by amounts appropriated into the relevant budget line items for 2026. A second resolution authorizes the Facilities Manager to use a county credit card for work-related expenses and repairs with a per-month charge limit not to exceed $5,000 for calendar year 2026. Both motions were moved by Commissioner Tony Anderson and seconded by Commissioner James D. Garland; roll calls recorded two ayes and one absence.
