The Nye County Water District announced on Oct. 14 the establishment of a working group to evaluate undevelopable 'zombie' lots in the Pahrump area and recommend potential actions. The manager said the first working-group meeting will be held immediately after the board session and the group will meet monthly until a report is ready for board consideration.
The working group will include community members and county liaisons; the manager said staff will identify highest-density areas of concern and work with county partners. The effort is intended to produce nonbinding recommendations the board can forward to the Board of County Commissioners if desired.
