Selectboard approves payroll, pay orders and moves $1,600 to Riverside Cemetery Fund
The board approved two payrolls and pay orders totaling $19,252.43 in pay runs and voted unanimously to transfer $1,600 from the general fund to the Riverside Cemetery Fund after four recent lot sales were misposted.

The Selectboard approved payroll for the week ending March 28, 2026 in the amount of $6,553.75 and for the week ending April 4, 2026 in the amount of $6,305.05. The board also approved pay orders for the week ending April 7, 2026 totaling $16,394.63. Treasurer Julie Bessette told the board she discovered four cemetery lots previously sold had their receipts posted to the general fund instead of the Riverside Cemetery Fund (four lots at $400 each), meaning the town needed to transfer $1,600 into the cemetery fund.
