Mayor Watson proposed purchasing a compact, towable emergency "attack" trailer (initial unit ~300 gallons; option to expand to double tanks), intended for quick local response at events and to supplement the city’s IGA with Oak Ridge Fire. The mayor framed it as an interim, pragmatic measure given known response-time gaps: “We have to have support for fire protection. This is an interim,” she said.
