The Okmulgee Board of Education approved a proposal for district-wide student participation in the Okmulgee Identity Project, submitted by Waymen Lewis, founder of The Okmulgee Hall of Fame. The motion to approve was made by Vickie Jones and seconded by Keith Baldridge; trustees voted in favor without recorded opposition.
