Council orders lock changes after repeated access violations at baseball building
Following reports that the baseball building door was left open repeatedly and that volunteers used the facility after winterization, the council directed locks be changed and that keys/access will be handled via lock boxes; the named volunteer Gene Struck was not present.

The council discussed repeated misuse of the city baseball building and directed staff to change the locks and move to lock-box access after Finance Officer Nicole Siemonsma reported that the building door had been left open several times and that volunteer Gene Struck had allowed nonemployees to use the facility after the building was winterized in 2024.
