Board approves $125,833 in elementary playground upgrades
The Pawnee school board approved a $112,333.76 purchase of turf for the elementary playground and a $13,500 cleanup contract to prepare the site. Both motions passed on unanimous roll calls among recorded voters.

John Henry, the district clerk, moved to approve a $112,333.76 proposal from Landscape Structures to install turf on the elementary school playground; the motion was seconded by Tiffany Higgins and passed on roll call (yes: Henry, Rapp, Higgins, Vance). The board separately approved a $13,500.00 quote from Levi Edwards Enterprises to clean up and remove mulch to prepare the playground surface, with Higgins moving and Henry seconding.
