DOT outlines Pali Highway speed measures and bridge plan for school access
Oʻahu District Engineer Ryan Nakata said DOT is designing a raised crosswalk at Wood Street to address speeding and will take field ADA measurements for resurfacing; DOT is coordinating with DLNR and city agencies on a proposed bridge to restore safe pedestrian access to Poa Elementary, but agreements mean the work likely won't be finished before school starts.
