Staff reported contractors are back at JC Park: the kitty fence around the playground is complete, crews are preparing parking and the sidewalk is expected to be poured; the bathroom contractor remains two to three weeks away. Staff said they will close off the bathroom area so the park can safely open while finishing work continues.
On programming, staff said the summer parks program finished with improved participation. "We had an increase in the participation around 10% from last year," the agency official reported, and staff noted fundraising efforts raised approximately $1,820 at a recent event. Staff will continue site work and return with updates on the bathroom contractor and final park completion timing.
