After a public hearing on Aug. 27, 2025, the Neodesha Board of Commissioners unanimously approved the city's 2026 budget. Commissioner Truelove moved for adoption and the roll-call vote was 3–0.

The City of Neodesha held the published 2026 budget hearing on Aug. 27, 2025; Mayor Devin Johnson opened the hearing, public comments were received, and the hearing was closed. Commissioner Truelove moved to approve the 2026 budget as presented and the motion passed unanimously with a 3–0 roll-call vote.
