Coffee County Election Commission approves pay increases for election officials
The Commission unanimously approved a new pay schedule for election officials for future elections, raising per-election and hourly rates across roles and adding training pay as part of the FY 2026-2027 budget the County Commission approved at the end of June.

The Coffee County Election Commission voted July 9 to approve a new pay structure for election officials ahead of the Aug. 6, 2026 election. Commissioner Larry McIntosh moved to adopt the schedule and Secretary Barbara Arp seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
