County staff presented a professional services agreement with Docutopia for $74,980 to digitize the clerk and recorder’s legacy large-format maps and engineering drawings. Sandra Merchant introduced the proposal and Reid Blackburn, representing Docutopia, joined by Zoom to describe the scope of work and answer commissioners’ questions.
Commissioner Joe Briggs asked follow-up questions during the presentation; after discussion the commission pulled Contract 26-73 for additional research and scheduled it to return to the July 8, 2026 work session. The minutes record that the item was pulled and will be brought back, but do not record a final vote at the June 17 meeting.
