Town Administrator Alicia Bryant told the board the Transfer Station vendor advised against a dedicated smaller roll-off for mattresses because an infrequently filled unit would trigger a rental fee; the board decided to continue paying extra tonnage rather than incur rental charges. The Transfer Station has also installed a vault and improved its tire-payment log; staff will turn payments in bi-weekly with payroll to help inventory counts.
