A courthouse security upgrade review led the Kingsbury County Board to reject two vendor bids and seek engineering oversight. A security committee consisting of Register of Deeds Caryn Hojer, Emergency Manager Kristen Longville and Clerk of Courts Jennifer Malone recommended rejecting bids from CommTech and OnSight Security Systems and having the project engineered to ensure equipment needs and courthouse integrity are met. The board approved the recommendation (motion by Nelson; second by Walls).
