Calhoun County’s commissioner’s court approved agreement ID 262038 on July 29 for a permit and code enforcement management software package to run from Aug. 1, 2026, to July 1, 2027. The presiding commissioner explained the system will centralize permit, floodplain and code enforcement records so departments can track permit histories and reports without manual research.
The cost was stated in the meeting as $3,500 per department per year. Commissioners discussed that the subscription eases recordkeeping, particularly for floodplain management, and voted to approve the contract as budgeted.
