Superintendent John Wyrick reported that the ESSDACK Leadership Team conducted a poverty simulation on Oct. 11 with board members, administration, teachers, parents and community members to illustrate how real-life conditions affect USD 506 students and families. Wyrick described the simulation as an overview of those challenges and presented it as a tool for informing district decisions.
