The Brooks County Commissioners' Court voted unanimously on March 22, 2024, to approve a professional-services contract for a forensic pathologist to provide autopsy and related services at a contracted funeral-home facility. Commissioner Marty "Martin" Cabrera moved the approval and Commissioner Eduardo "Eddie" Garza seconded; the vote was recorded as Yes = 4.
