Council signals conditional support for denser plan on former Davis School site in Shoreline
Developers and school-district representatives presented a pre-application to convert a reserved school parcel in Shoreline into housing. Council members tentatively supported a higher-lot option if the plan includes larger minimum lot sizes and at least 20% open space.

Noah, the city planning staff member, presented the Shoreline pre-application and reminded councillors that the site lies inside an existing development agreement that originally reserved the parcel for a school. "The development agreement allows 400 units," Noah said, noting the subdivision is largely built out and this is the final in-fill parcel under discussion.
