The Vernon County Board voted to adopt Resolution 2024-25, expressing the county’s support for designation of the Mississippi River Trail within county limits. Francis Schelfhout of the Wisconsin Department of Transportation presented the route proposal, noting that local municipalities had already approved supporting resolutions and that the Economic Development Committee had endorsed Vernon County’s adoption.
