Policy/Personnel Committee recommends rewrite of county compensation classification guideline
Committee members voted unanimously to recommend rewriting the Compensation Classification Guideline heading and clerical changes and to forward the revised policy to the full Board; the appendix describes the county's point-factor job evaluation, pay grades, step increases and CPI-U adjustments.

The committee reviewed the Compensation Classification Guideline (Appendix C). Members noted the policy content remains unchanged since the prior meeting and that a prior motion had been missed at a Board meeting. Committee member Shayne Machen moved and Eric Gustad seconded a motion to recommend rewriting the policy heading to reflect the title change to "Policy and Personnel Committee," make suggested clerical edits, and send the revised policy to the full Board. The motion passed unanimously: "Ayes: All; Nays: None; Motion Carried," according to the minutes.
