Cameron described the installation method: the mural would be prepared offsite on canvas panels of different sizes, then assembled on site. "The surface would need to be powerwashed, and then the canvas pieces decoupaged with a specific product," she said. Commissioners asked about materials and longevity; Cameron said the canvas approach lasts better than painting directly on a wall. Allison Robbins notified Cameron that, under the Community Arts grant guidelines, the Arts Commission cannot serve as a collaborating partner for the Arts in Public Places projects but may be able to provide funding; Allison will connect Cameron with potential collaborating partners via email.
No formal funding decision was made at the meeting; the Commission offered location leads and a follow‑up connection from Allison to help Cameron identify collaborators.
