The Washington County Commission unanimously accepted two proclamations on May 18: one recognizing May 2026 as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) Awareness Month and another recognizing the Semiquincentennial of the United States and the county’s related national collaboration. Both proclamations were presented by Mayor Grandy and were accepted by motions recorded in the minutes.
