Council approved creation of an unpaid summer intern position to assist the Mayor with community outreach, historical research and administrative tasks, and appointed Izzy Wolfe effective July 1, 2026. Meck presented the job description and noted the goal is to give a local youth hands‑on exposure to civic leadership and public service; Mayor George said the position was initiated by the candidate herself.
