Hanover CSB elects leadership; nominations pass unanimously

The Hanover County Community Services Board voted unanimously Feb. 23 to elect Mary Butler Eggleston as Chair, Amanda Bishop as Vice-Chair and Johna Jones as Secretary, following a nominating committee recommendation.
On Feb. 23, 2026, the Hanover County Community Services Board unanimously elected three officers recommended by the Nominating Committee. Sue Randolph moved the slate to appoint Mary Butler Eggleston as Chair, Amanda Bishop as Vice-Chair and Johna Jones as Secretary; each motion passed with no recorded opposition.
The board conducted separate votes for each office. Randolph made each motion; the motions were seconded as recorded (Woodi Sprinkel, Ed Gooding and Carol McDaid) and passed unanimously. The minutes indicate a full complement of members voted in favor. The board will next meet April 20, 2026, per the published schedule.
