Kay County Excise Board approves routine fiscal items, reimbursements and small appropriation
At its Feb. 9 meeting in Newkirk, the Kay County Excise Board unanimously approved minutes, a $60 contribution to the Health Department, a $16,223.49 reimbursement to the General Fund and a $125 supplemental appropriation for the assessor.

The Kay County Excise Board convened on Feb. 9, 2026, and unanimously approved several routine fiscal items, including the regular meeting minutes of Jan. 12, 2026. Vice-Chairman Rod Reese moved to approve the minutes and Member Christy Kennedy seconded; the board voted Wilson, Reese and Kennedy — all aye.
