Court sets composition for salary grievance committee under Local Government Code
The Commissioners Court approved a grievance committee composition for salary disputes, naming elected officials and county officers as voting members and planning to select public members later; vote was unanimous.

Under agenda item e, the court considered the salary grievance process in accordance with Local Government Code §152.014. Commissioner Connolly (speaker 5) moved that the panel include the sheriff, county tax assessor-collector, county treasurer, county clerk, district clerk, county attorney or criminal district attorney, and the necessary number of public members so the panel totals nine voting members.
