Court approves appraisal as basis for final offer on parcel for Oak Ridge Road reconstruction
Following closed session, commissioners approved the Parcel 1 appraisal for a final offer to acquire property at North Oak Ridge Drive and Red Eagle Trail in Hudson Oaks as part of the Oak Ridge Road reconstruction; motion carried 5-0.

After returning from executive session, the court voted to approve the appraisal for Parcel 1 so staff can prepare a final offer in anticipation of eminent domain proceedings if necessary. A commissioner said the appraisal would be used "in preparation for imminent domain to acquire the property located in the Southeast corner of North Oak Ridge Drive and Hudson Red Eagle Trail in Hudson Oaks" to support reconstruction of Oak Ridge Road from US-180 North to Mary Martin Elementary School.
