A council member emphasized that formal council approval of the job description and hiring process is a prerequisite for conducting candidate interviews in executive session. "Part of that process2c you're gonna be hearing about the job description and and elements of the the process... it would be important or 1 of the requirements of this process is that the city approve that job description and the hiring process and procedure formally," the council member said.
