A supervisor introduced a resolution honoring the Sappony congregation’s approximately 300 years of continuous worship and asked the board to adopt language recognizing that history. The author of the drafted resolution (noted in the packet) was credited and copies were made available for the public. The board moved, seconded and approved the resolution by roll call.
