County planners present technical zoning amendment effective March 1, 2026

Laura Oberholtzer of Allen County Department of Planning Services presented ZORD-2025-0016, a technical amendment to the county's zoning ordinance intended to address issues and inconsistencies in policy. She told commissioners there was no opposition at the public hearing and the planning commission recommended approval by a 7–0 vote. The effective date for the ordinance changes is March 1, 2026. The board approved the ordinance amendment 3–0.
