The constable for Precinct 3 told the court his office has four drones—two entry drones for close, doorway checks and two high‑altitude units (one with thermal imaging)—and described how drones have aided safety and evidence gathering. “We have 2 high flying drones, and then we have 2 drones that are actually what we call entry, drones ... the entry ones, anybody can fly 1 as long as you have an experienced teacher,” the constable said, noting training and certification requirements for higher‑altitude operations.
