The Ward County Commissioners' Court voted unanimously Dec. 22 to approve a mutual-aid agreement to enhance coordination on complex emergency response and investigation planning. Commissioner Guy Thames made the motion and Commissioner Billy Redmon seconded the measure, which passed with four votes in favor and one member absent.
