On May 11, Terrell County Commissioners approved two related personnel actions: consolidation of all precinct constable positions into a single countywide constable and a declaration that the constable position be considered "Dormant". Commissioner Adam Johnson moved both measures; Commissioner Gene Chavez seconded and both motions passed with all members voting "aye."
