Markesan council authorizes CDBG application and commits matching funds

The Markesan Common Council voted to authorize submission of a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) application and to certify that the city has secured match funds. Ald. Kazda moved to approve Resolution 01-2026 (CDBG application) with Ald. Prill seconding; the motion carried 5-0. Ald. Prill then moved to approve Resolution 02-2026 to commit match funds and certify they are secured, seconded by Ald. Thiem; that motion also carried 5-0.
