Police Jury adopts revised Fleet Safety Program, updates job descriptions and appointments
The Jury amended the Personnel and Operational Manual to add a revised Fleet Safety Program recommended by Travelers Insurance, revised multiple job descriptions, and appointed three staff to identified positions; motions passed unanimously among voting jurors with one abstention recorded.

Mrs. Deionne Carpenter moved to amend the Winn Parish Police Jury Personnel and Operational Manual to add a revised Fleet Safety Program; Karen Tyler explained the recommendation came from Travelers Insurance and that the LRPIC Board of 13 rural parishes voted to adopt the policy by August 1, 2025. "Most of this fleet program is already in our manual but there are a few changes that protect the Jury and employees," Tyler said.
