Committee hears assurances that DPW work is on schedule after employee complaints

A committee member addressed the board to rebut recent reports that highway work was not proceeding, saying ABW employees had reported that "nothing's getting done in the highway" but that those reports were incorrect. "I just wanna assure the committee that that's far from the truth," the committee member said, adding that items on the 2026 schedule are either completed, in progress, or scheduled to be completed this year and that four roads are already planned for next year's projects.
