Sewer root-control work completed under 1:1 OMAG grant; lines treated with two-year foam solution
The Authority reported completion (6/9) of a sewer-line root-control project funded by a 1:1 OMAG grant; multiple segments were foamed and the vendor will reapply at no charge if roots recur during the two-year effective period.

Public Works Director T.R. Lesher said the town received a 1:1 OMAG grant to address root intrusion in sewer lines and reported the project was completed on June 9. Treated segments included Kerby to Trugeon; the entire length of Trugeon; Kerby to Morehead; Morehead to Sharp; Sharp to Pybas; and Kerby to Oakland.
