Grant County Court reviewed an APHIS/USDA predator-control request at its March 4 meeting that included a county share estimate of $93,150 for the year. The packet included a written update that said the Oregon Department of Agriculture decreased its funding to Wildlife Services from $545,660 to $238,542 per biennium and that higher operational and employee expenses, including anticipated COLA increases, contributed to the request for more county support.
