Commissioners accept prior nutrient-pathogen study for Red Fox subdivision but require traffic study

Planning & Zoning staffer Milton Ollerton told the board that Red Fox Subdivision was approved in 2011 but has not been developed; a prior nutrient-pathogen (NP) study exists from the original approval. Milton said repeating the NP study would likely produce the same results, and Planning recommended accepting the earlier work.
Road & Bridge, however, recommended that a traffic study still be completed because of existing concerns on 400 N. Developers Brad Foster and Brad Pickett asked the board to waive the traffic-study requirement due to cost and time, but commissioners voted to accept the prior NP study while requiring a traffic study and that developers follow its recommendations in coordination with the county engineer, Road & Bridge, and Planning & Zoning.
